Rhulani’s high-flying Mamelodi Sundowns team seem virtually unstoppable at the moment in the PSL.

Here’s how we think they’ll line up against TS Galaxy. A win would further widen the gap between them and nearest challengers Richards Bay to 19 points, although they would have played two games extra.

Predicted Mamelodi Sundowns XI vs TS Galaxzy

Williams; Mudau, Mvala, Kekana, Modiba; Mokoena, Allende; Maema, Zwane; Mailula, Shalulile

Ronwen Williams is undroppable in the Downs goal, with the Brazilians conceding just six times all season. Khuliso Mudau was a constant threat against Chiefs from right-back and will retain his place here. In case you want to be saved the trouble, this XI we have selected shows NO changes from the side which beat the Glamour Boys. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Strike-duo Cassius Mailula and Peter Shalulile will be eager to combine again and cause headaces for the Galaxy backline.

Coach Rhulani will persist with the box-shape 4-2-2-2 formation which allows him to accommodate plenty of attack-minded midfielders, including Neo Maema, match-winner in each of Sundowns’ last two PSL matches.

Sundowns turning the screw

The Brazilians’ win over Kaizer Chiefs last time out was their 12th consecutive success in the top-flight, breaking their own record for successive wins in the PSL era. Now they’re gunning for lucky number 13. Kickoff is at 19:30.
