New men Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and Given Msimango have the potential to form a sturdy central partnership for many years. Sifiso Hlanti. should he extend his contract, would provide invaluable experience on the left-side.

RUMOURED ARRIVALS

Mduduzi Mdantsane is widely expected to sign on the dotted line. Imagine Chiefs were to make an audacious bid for his Cape Town City teammate Khanyisa Mayo? The Glamour Boys would have a new-look attack to strike fear into defences across the country. There’s also talk that the clubwill aggressively pursue a new goalkeeper with Itumeleng Khune’s future far from certain. Could Richards Bay stopper Salim Magoola be that man?

In terms of wild card rumours, outstanding young Stellies midfielder Ibraheem Jabaar would improve any PSL side. Should Chiefs be taking a look at him? it’s highly likely we will be seeing a new-look Glamour Boys side on our TV screens next season.
