It truly happened. Pitso Mosimane has returned to Saudi Arabia. Here are his very first words as the new coach at Abha Club.

Apologies to some Kaizer Chiefs fans. Pitso Mosimane has moved to Abha Club in Saudi Arabia.

PITSO MOSIMANE JOINS ABHA CLUB IN SAUDI ARABIA

As previously confirmed last week, Mosimane confirmed the move via his agency media.

“I am happy to be returning to Saudi Arabia with an exciting challenge awaiting.

“Abha Club has had a quick rise to the Saudi Pro League, considering they were playing in the 3rd Division just four seasons ago.

“Now as the club faces its toughest challenge yet, I am honored that the Board has entrusted me with the task of keeping the team in the Pro League,” Mosimane.

The Kagiso-born coach signed a four-month club and has 15 games to save Abha from relegation.

FIRST MESSAGE TO HIS FANS

Meanwhile, Mosimane has been captured during his first session with Abha.

“Great to be back on the pitch,” he said via X.

“An exciting new journey ahead with Abha FC. Ready to put in the work necessary to elevate the team.

“Thank you to the President and the Boards for entrusted me with this responsibility.

“With our supporters behind us, inshallah we will build something special 🙏🏾” Mosimane concluded.
