Orlando Pirates trio still out, Kapinga and Kimvuidi to debut soon

Orlando Pirates have issue an injury update ahead of their MTN8 quarter-final clash with Stellenbosch FC at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.

Orlando Pirates have issued an injury update ahead of their MTN8 quarter-final clash with Stellenbosch FC at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 18:00.

In a statement released on Friday, Pirates revealed that Miguel Timm, Thembinkosi Lorch and Katlego Otladisa are still out injured.

Both Timm and Lorch are yet to feature for Pirates this season while Otladisa came on as a second half substitute against Stellenbosch FC.

Nonetheless, Pirates report that they expect the trio to return to the training grounds in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the Soweto giants revealed that both Lesedi Kapinga and Karim Kimvuidi are edging closer to making their debuts.

Kapinga joined Pirates on a free transfer following his departure from Mamelodi Sundowns while Kimvuidi was bought from Maritzburg United.

ORLANDO PIRATES INJURY UPDATE, KAPINGA AND KIMVUIDI TO FEATURE SOON

“Pirates have had a few minor injury worries early in the season, with key players such as Miguel Timm and Thembinkosi Lorch yet to feature this season, while new signing Katlego Otladisa sat out the home clash against Royal AM due to a knock picked up in the season opener,” reads part of the statement.

“The trio is among those that could resume full training in the coming days, while the likes of Lesedi Kapinga and Karim Kamvuidi are inching closer to their respective Bucs debuts.”
