Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rhulani Mokwena is hoping former Orlando Pirates ace Thembinkosi Lorch can make an immediate at the Brazilians.

Lorch joined Sundowns in a blockbuster deadline-day move from the Buccaneers.

According to Mokwena, Lorch will immediately improve the quality of his side ahead of a bumper second half of the season.

In other news, Orlando Pirates have reportedly decided against chasing Royal AM star Shaune Mogaila’s signature.

The 28-year-old speedster has long been linked with a move to the Buccaneers.

According to the latest reports, Royal AM are fighting tooth and nail to hold on to their star man due to their ongoing Fifa transfer ban!

Buccaneers throw in the towel?

“Royal AM is doing everything to keep Shaune Mogaila in the team for longer. The club is in a tough situation with the transfer ban and is making everything possible to convince Mogaila to stay. The negotiations are still ongoing.” a source told SoccerLaduma.

The publication further claimed that due to the current situation, Shaune Mogaila won’t be joining Orlando Pirates next season.
