Orlando Pirates star suspended for SuperSport clash!

Jose Riveiro will be without the services of a key Orlando Pirates midfielder when his side takes on SuperSport United

Orlando Pirates return to DStv Premiership action this afternoon when they travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium to face SuperSport United.

Jose Riveiro’s side are in scintillating form having won five out of their previous six league matches!

A victory for the Buccaneers will see them leapfrog Gavin Hunt’s side into second position on the log standings.

The Buccaneers will be without the services of one key man this afternoon!

Patrick Maswanganyi will play no part in today’s action against his former side SuperSport United due to suspension.

Today’s DStv Premiership clash is scheduled to get underway at 17:45 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium. The match will be televised live on SuperSport PSL.

“I’m happy with the performances. The results we cannot control.” Spanish tactician Jose Riveiro told TimesLive.

“So the consistency must be in the performances and the intention, and then we try to control the results as well as possible.

“We should have finished the last 15-minutes with maybe a two or three-goal advantage and not really under stress.

“But it’s a scoring game, it’s 2-1 and we’ll take it. But the most important for me is the performance.”
