Kick-off for the encounter is at 15:00.

In a statement released on Friday, Pirates confirmed the suspension of Ntsikelelo Nyauza who’s serving a two-match ban.

However, Kwanda Mngonyama has returned from an injury lay-off after as he’s back in contention for the clash against Swallows.

“The Buccaneers will again have to go without defender Ntsikelelo Nyauza, who sits out the game due to his two-match suspension,” confirmed Pirates.

“However, there has been a boost in the defence with new arrival Kwanda Mngonyama back to full training after spending the opening weeks of the season on the injury list,” the club said.

Furthermore, Thabang Monare and Ben Motshwari are available for selection after recovering from their injuries during the FIFA break.

“Other players who have been on the mend during the FIFA break include midfield duo Thabang Monare and Ben Motshwari, both in line for a return to the match day squad after missing out on the previous fixtures through injury.”

While a number of international players such as Deon Hotto and Gabadinho Mhango among others are back, Richard Ofori isn’t available for selection.

And that’s because the Ghanaian goalkeeper suffered a thigh injury during the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Bafana Bafana on Monday.
