Pirates confirm today’s match broadcast from Spain

Talk about exciting news. Orlando Pirates have confirmed broadcast details for the match against Independiente del valle on YouTube.

Following the 1-0 win over Maccabi tel Aviv on Thursday, very few Orlando Pirates fans will miss this next game.

ORLANDO PIRATES VS INDEPENDIETE ON YOUTUBE

The pre-season is Marbella, Spain continues on Saturday. The Sea Robbers will lock horns with Ecuador’s Independiete at 18:00.

According to Pirates’ announcement, the match will be broadcast on the club’s YouTube channel.

THE FIRST GAME ON THURSDAY

As The South African website reported on Thursday, the Soweto giants snatched a 1-0 victory over Tel Aviv in Marbella, Spain.

New boy Patrick Masangwanyi smashed in the only goal of the game in the 40th minute, while Sipho Chaine delivered a wonderful save on 44 minutes to secure the clean sheet.

As you would expect from the first game of pre-season, where players are far from 100% match fitness, Pirates coach Riveiro fielded two different teams in the two halves.

First half line-up:

Chaine, Monyane, Xoki, Sibisi, Mako, Monare, Makhaula, Lorch, Masangwanyi, Dlamini, Makgopa.

Second half line-up:

Mpontshane, Shandu, Mthethwa, Maela, Hotto, Timm, Baloni, Makaringe, Saleng, Otladisa and Erasmus.

Unused players: Buthelezi, Ofori, Ndah, Mosele, Ndlondlo, Ratomo, Matrose, Pule, Nga, Motshwari, Dzvukamanja, Lepasa.
