Orlando Pirates supporters should always expect goodbyes between June and August every season. Here is the latest list of eight departures.

EIGHT PLAYERS LEAVE ORLANDO PIRATES
After making six new signings, the Soweto giants have had to trim the squad. Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah is the latest exit after moving to Israel on Monday.

Here is the full list of eight players that have left so far:
- Ntsako Makhubela, 29, attacking midfielder
- Craig Martin, 29, wingback
- Nkanyiso Zungu, 27, midfielder
- Bongani Sam, 24, left-back (loan)
- Tshegofatso Mabasa, 23, striker (loan)
- Ndumiso Mabena, 36, striker
- Goodman Mosele, 23, midfielder (loan)
- Kwame Peprah, 22, striker.

MTN8 VS SEKHUKHUNE
Meanwhile, Pirates are focused on Saturday night in Soweto.
Following the exciting 4-2 win over Royal AM on Tuesday, Jose Riveiro’s Buccaneers forget it and focus on Sekhukhune.

Additionally, coach Jose Riveiro has revealed that some of his new signings need extended time.
As reported by Pirates and The South African website over the past month, the Soweto giants have completed six new deals:
- Melusi Buthelezi, 25, goalkeeper
- Siphelo Baloni, 23, central midfielder
- Katlego Otladisa, 26, winger
- Patrick Maswanganyi, 25, forward
- Lesedi Kapinga, 28, attacking midfielder
- Karim Kimvuidi, 21, attacking midfielder.

With Maswanganyi and Otladisa appearing in recent games, where were the others?
Coach Riveiro has expressed his delight while also suggesting that the new players are for the medium to long-term future.
“When you go to the market, there are different factors playing a role,” Riveiro said via the Sowetan.
“We had to think in the short- to mid-term, I think Pirates did an exceptional job in the market. The adaptation of the players is going so well, in some of the cases, it’s even going quicker than what we expected.
“So happy with the new players because I think the future is going to be nice for them and the club as well,” the Pirates tactician added.
