Mamelodi Sundowns reportedly came near a payment of R10 million for an Orlando Pirates star. Here’s how.

We nearly saw the latest Orlando Pirates player moving to Mamelodi Sundowns since Oupa Manyisa in 2017.

REPORTS: MAMELODI SUNDOWNS TARGET ORLANDO PIRATES STAR

As recently reported in local media, the DStv Premiership champions made a move to sign Vincent Pule. It’s a surprising attempt, isn’t it? The reports further claimed that the Sea Robbers demanded a minimum of R10 million for the transfer.

WHY THE DEAL FELL THROUGH

According to a report from Soccer Laduma, Sundowns had second thoughts because the Qwa-Qwa-born player is turning 31 in March and therefore would not be a sound investment.
