CAPE TOWN SPURS BEAT ORLANDO PIRATES

Having scored an early goal via Lubeni Haukongo before Jarrod Moroole made it 2-0 on 36 minutes, Pirates’ pullback from Evidence Makgopa turned out to be just a consolation as Spurs ran out 2-1 winners on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media after the game, Spurs’ interim coach Sean Connor was quick to remind Pirates and the PSL that Spurs are not really a small football club.

“First of all, we are a big club too, okay,” said Connor as quoted by FARPost.
