Orlando Pirates: Ncikazi sends emotional message to Bucs fans

It’s clear, Orlando Pirates failed this season. The club’s co-coach Mandla Ncikazi has now sent a heartfelt meesage to fans.

Eish, Orlando Pirates have not had a successful season despite the enormous talent in their books. Co-coach Mandla Ncikazi sounds like he is acutely aware of this.

To put Bucs‘ failure in simple evidence, no trophy was lifted, and worse, the club finished in sixth place, meaning no CAF Champions League nor the Confederation Cup.

DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town City will play CAFCL football, while Royal AM will represent Mzansi in the CAFCC.

MANDLA NCIKAZI APOLOGISES TO ORLANDO PIRATES FANS

Speaking after the club’s final game of the season, a 2-0 loss at the hands of a youthful SuperSport United on Monday night, coach Ncikazi is full of regret.

Disappointing results, the fans of Orlando Pirates, management don’t deserve this, just to sum it up,” Ncikazi said via KickOff.

“I think the result summed up a very unsuccessful season for the team and one just has to apologise.

“There is no justification of anything if you try to go to the match and justify what happened,” he added.

“But also I don’t think we were a bad team, though we created better chances the outcome is different.

“So that’s why I don’t want to even go there, we just have to take out what we can after we lost the match.

“The red card added to it but at the end of the day we lost the match and I am disappointed,” the Orlando Pirates co-coach concluded.
