Orlando Pirates red-hot star, Monnapule Saleng, has attracted interest from two clubs in Europe with one leading the way in the race for his signature.

Orlando Pirates red-hot star, Monnapule Saleng, has attracted interest from two clubs in Europe with one leading the way in the race for his signature.

Saleng is wanted by two European clubs.

Firstly, French-based side Monaco are interested in his signature. Moreover, an unnamed Belgium team is also trying to sign Saleng.

TWO EUROPEANS SIDE PURSUING PIRATES STAR

Initially, Monaco were interested in signing Cassius Mailula before he went to the MLS.

“I can tell you that interest is now high for Saleng. There are two teams and one of them is Monaco from France. They wanted Cassius Mailula before he went to the MLS,” the source stated on SoccerLaduma.

However, since his move their attention has now turned to Saleng.

“Since they didn’t get him they have turned their attention to Saleng. I think they have talked to the agent as well as the team but their is nothing final yet,” he added.

BELGIUM SIDE LEADING THE WAY FOR SALENG

Meanwhile, although we don’t know the name of the side. We know that the Belgium side are reportedly leading the race to sign Saleng.

“The other team is from Belgium but I don’t have the name for that team. But the club wants to make money from him with his contract coming to an end in June next year,” he continued.
