The agent of Orlando Pirates midfielder Collins Makgaka has confirmed that the player seeks a move away from the Buccaneers.
Makgaka has enjoyed virtually no playing time at the Buccaneers, and now seeks either a loan of permanent move away from the club!
The talented midfielder joined the club in 2020 from Baroka FC but has struggled to leave his mark at the club.
Makgaka made just four appearances for Jose Riveiro’s side last season. All four of which were late cameo appearances!
“Pirates activated Collins Makgaka’s two-year club option a couple of months back to extend his contract,” his agent Kieran Brown told KickOff.
“So, as it stands he will be staying at Orlando Pirates this summer. We have requested various options with the club, but they are yet to confirm.
“Colins is in desperate need of playing time, and it’s important he gets this next season.”
In other news, former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Dumisani Zuma is a free agent again!
Zuma was released by the Amakhosi last year, and joined AmaZulu as a free agent.
According to the latest reports, Usuthu have opted against extending his contract at the club!
This means that the former Bloemfontein Celtic star is once again a free agent, and can join any club with immediate effect!
Zuma made 21 appearances for AmaZulu, scoring just one goal in his time at the club.
“SABC Sport can reveal AmaZulu FC will not trigger the option on Dumisani Zuma’s contract, effectively making the striker a free agent.” a SABC SPORT report read.
