Mdledle, though, said his transfer from Pirates to Sundowns caught him by surprise as he was only informed of it after everything was finalised.

And he suspects that the deal was hidden from him because he had been at loggerheads with Pirates who claimed he still had two more years left on his contract.

At the time, Mdledle only knew of a three-year contract he signed when he was promoted to the first team, and not the said five-year deal Pirates claimed.

Nonetheless, Mdledle said he was happy at Sundowns because they gave him the money he wanted, thanks to his former agent Walter Mokoena.

HOW MDLEDLE LEFT ORLANDO PIRATES FOR MAMELODI SUNDOWNS FOR R4 MILLION

“That is when I realised that there is fraud in football because I remember leaving the Pirates offices and going home, because they wanted to talk to me but I didn’t want to,” said Mdledle on Off The Pitch with TK.

“The next thing, Walter and Sundowns were negotiating, suddenly, I have been sold. How I sold, I don’t know because even the transfer happened in the last minutes of the transfer window,” he continued.

Asked how if he was told how much he was sold for, Mdledle said: “Yes, it was R4 million.”

“You don’t get anything from the transfer fee. All you get is a signing on fee and a salary.

“I was happy going to Sundowns because they were going to give me what I want, and they did, and while at Sundowns, I did so many things with the money they gave me,” added Mdledle.
