Orlando Pirates legend humbled by fellow Bucs legend!

Two former Orlando Pirates greats met on Sunday afternoon in a blockbuster Motsepe Foundation Championship clash

Two Orlando Pirates legends faced off this afternoon in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Former Bucs winger Daine Klate currently the head of La Masia and legendary Bucs goalkeeper Dan Malesela who’s currently coaching Baroka FC squared off at the Global Stadium.

Orlando Pirates legends face-off in MFC

Dan Dance’s Baroka walked away with an incredible 4-1 victory over Klate’s La Masia.

The win pushed Baroka FC up to second on the Motsepe Foundation Championship log standings while La Masia sit in 12th position, just three points above the relegation zone.

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs legend Bernard Parker has broken his silence on the leg breaking tackle he received from Mamelodi Sundowns’ Bongani Zungu.

Now plying his trade for TS Galaxy. Bernard Parker was on the receiving end of a leg breaking tackle last month.

The Bafana Bafana legend underwent immediate surgery. He is now on the mend however he’ll remain on the sidelines for an extended period of time

Parker opens up on Bongani Zungu horror tackle

“I think there was ill intent in the Zungu tackle,” Parker told SportsNightAmplified on MetroFM.

“I think it was a build up of emotions from him and looking at the two goals scored by Galaxy and how he was involved. When the incident happened, it was building up to it. We are all human and things like that do happen, I am not angry.”
