Orlando Pirates returned to action this evening when they hosted Venda Football Academy in a Nedbank Cup last 16 clash.

Kermit Erasmus handed the hosts the lead after a well worked team goal.

It should’ve been smooth sailing from there for Jose Riveiro’s side but that wasn’t the case!

Deon Hotto however was unfortunately the latest Bucs player to commit a grave error.

Still reeling from Olisa Ndah’s tragic Soweto derby own goal, Hotto was majorly at fault for Venda Football Academy’s equaliser this time around.

It was former Kaizer Chiefs man Edmore Chirambadare who capitalised on Hotto’s mistake! Take a look at the goal below.

At the time of posting, the scoreline read 1-1 after 80 minutes of play. Follow all of the live action from today’s blockbuster clash below.

We don’t rotate – Jose

“We don’t rotate. We are playing one game a week, so if you find any change in our starting XI” – Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro said as quoted by IOL.

Regarding the last game, it will be because someone is not available. It’s still early, so a lot of things can happen before Saturday.

Or else, the coach decides to introduce a different player, different profile or tactical quality.

But it’s not because of rotation. We can talk about that if we have to play after every two or three days. And that’s not the case. We wait for a week to play.”
