The Buccaneers have made a number of signings including the blockbuster transfer of Lesedi Kapinga from rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

While Bucs fans are desperate to see their new man in action, Riveiro however has warned fans that Kapinga needs time to adapt to life in Mayfair before he becomes a regular.

Kapinga enjoyed limited game-time at the Brazilians last season and will likely be gradually brought up to speed at the Buccaneers.

“Everyone needs time to properly adapt to the environment, new teammates and methodology.” Riveiro told TimesLive.

“We want you to be patient with them and the fans to be patient with them. So far, the process is going well with them, but like I said, they are in different stages.”

Jose ready for bumper August

“I think they are a very well-coached team and they showed it last season when they went through different stages during the year and managed in the end to find a way to win games.” the Orlando Pirates coach said as quoted by SowetanLive.

“They are a bit unpredictable because they can manage different types of proposals. They played in a way we didn’t expect last time in Orlando.

“We are going to play eight games in August, five in the league, so we have the opportunity to collect 15 points.”
