The Buccaneers return to Orlando Stadium this weekend after a trip to forget in midweek as they lost 2-0 to Sekhukhune United in the DStv Premiership.

They will also have to make do without Thabiso Monyane who picked up two yellow card bookings in their last match and was sent off, resulting in a two-match suspension.

Meanwhile, Ezimnyama Ngenkani’s goalie Ofori has accumulated four yellow cards, which means a one-match ban.

CHAINE OR MPONTSHANE IN GOAL FOR PIRATES?

Siyabonga Mpontshane, who has been at Orlando Pirates for over seven years, is the number two goalkeeper at the club, but the Soweto giants recently signed Sipho Chaine who has done well at his previous clubs before moving to the Buccaneers.

However, the 25-year-old shot-stopper hasn’t made a single appearance since he joined from Chippa United on the last day of the recently closed transfer window.

The club’s number four goalkeeper Kopano Thuntsane is unlikely to be considered.
