Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng is currently on trial with English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to insider reports, the Buccaneers are already working on finding a replacement for the academy star, should he complete a blockbuster move to Europe.

Mofokeng burst onto the scene at the end of last season at the tender age of 17. Jose Riveiro has been brave enough to use him as a regular starter this season.

In the past, the Buccaneers have been reluctant to sell their key players like Thembinkosi Lorch however this time around, the club are reportedly willing to let him move on!

“The league is the most important competition, it goes without saying,” Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro said as quoted by TimesLive.

“Thirty games, 15 away and home against everyone in every circumstance, hot and raining. So, it’s the most important competition and we really want to find our rhythm there.

“Now we have played our fourth competition in two months and a half. We are trying to keep the level in all competitions we play. It is difficult mentally to face these kinds of competitions in a very short space of time.”
