Onyango’s impressive number of clean sheets (15) in 24 league matches so far this season puts him in the driver’s seat for the accolade.

The Ugandan goalkeeper has conceded only 10 goals in the league thus far, and was instrumental in Sundowns putting one hand on the league trophy.

Mothwa, who joined Usuthu from Chippa United midway through the season, has played 24 league matches thus far.
