It’s time for Nedbank Cup fixtures again. The final 16 round is coming through this week. Unfortunately, Kaizer Chiefs supporters are not invited.

LAST 32 ROUND RESULTS

The last 32 round came and went. Kaizer Chiefs was the biggest story of the round. Amakhosi were sent packing by Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) mid-table club Milford FC.

How did it happen, you ask?

The game ended 0-0 after 120 minutes at the FNB Stadium. Milford goalkeeper Siphamandla Hleza was the hero. He saved Ranga Chivaviro‘s penalty to seal a 5-4 win. Chiefs were thus not invited to the Nedbank Cup last 16 draw.

Mamelodi Sundowns also grabbed headlines. Rulani Mokwena‘s side dispatched MFC side La Masia 6-0. New Argentine signing Matias Equivel delivered a sublime introduction with a worldclass free-kick.

Orlando Pirates also ensured a smooth entry into the next round of the Nedbank Cup fixtures. The Sea Robbers beat third division side Crystal Lake 4-0 in Mpumalanga.

The Sea Robbers are the defending champions after last season’s championship. Remember the final? Zimbabwean striker Terrance Dzjukamanja scored the famous winner against Sekhukhune United at the Loftus Versveld.
