Wow! Things are falling apart at Moroka Swallows. The DStv Premiership giants have released an excess of 22 players.

This is high drama like we’ve never seen. Moroka Swallows have fired 22 players for going on strike.

As reported in November, the club failed to provide payments for its squad of players.
Swallows players then reacted with a very costly action. The squad decided against attending training sessions and two matches.
The fixtures were against Mamelodi Sundowns and Golden Arrows in December.

As punishment, the PSL fined Swallows R1 million, of which R600,000 was suspended for 24 months.
Additionally, the club lost six points on the league table.
According to Marawa Sports Worldwide, as per Unplayable, Swallows have responded by releasing 22 players with immidiate effect.
