Ntseki admits Kaizer Chiefs fans acted out of disappointment

Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki has admitted that a section of fans that threw bottles at him in Polokwane acted out of disappointment.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki has admitted that a section of fans that threw bottles at him in Polokwane acted out of disappointment.

Ntseki had to be escorted off the pitch with huge police presence as disgruntled Chiefs demanded for his immediate resignation.

This follows Amakhosi’s 1-0 loss to SuperSport United at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium which brought the number of league defeats to three.

It was also the second time that Ntseki had to be ushered out of the pitch since taking over as Chiefs coach from Arthur Zwane.

On a positive note, though, Ntseki is of the opinion that while Chiefs fans are disappointed, their performance against SuperSport United was good.

He feels the players executed the game plan well on the night but rued conceding early. Terrence Dzvukamanja’s 67 seconds goal was the difference.

NTSEKI REACTS TO KAIZER CHIEFS FANS BEHAVIOUR

“I think they are disappointed because they are looking at the performance of the team, and the expectation is for us to win games,” Ntseki told the media.

“So, when you don’t win games like this and the one last week, obviously the supporters are disappointed,” he admitted.

“As much as they are disappointed, I think we have a good team, we had a good game, and the players are performing to the best of their abilities. I think the plan worked out today (Wednesday) , it’s just that we conceded very early.”
