Maritzburg United have unveiled their revised technical team for the second half of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.

The Team of Choice recently confirmed the appointment of Fadlu Davids as new head coach to replace the sacked John Maduka.

A club statement on Thursday read: “Meet our technical team behind Coach Fadlu Davids. Wayne Sandilands (Goalkeeper Coach), Darian Wilken (Assistant Coach), Burger van der Merwe (Physical Trainer) and Mueez Kajee (Performance/Video Analyst).”
Sandilands and Wilken both know Davids well from their time at Orlando Pirates together, while Van Merwe, who has previously been with AmaZulu, was part of Ernst Middendorp’s technical team at Maritzburg United before his sacking in July.

Maritzburg United are currently bottom of the DStv Premiership log with just 11 points from their 13 matches played to date.
They will next be in action at home against TS Galaxy on Friday, 30 December at 19:30.
