Sundowns transfer news: TWO newest signings report for ‘duty’!

Mamelodi Sundowns have done some serious transfer dealings for next season, and TWO of their newest signings are reportedly in Tshwane.

Mamelodi Sundowns have done some serious transfer dealings for next season, and TWO of their newest signings are reportedly in Tshwane.

According to Power FM Sport anchor Masekepe Matsebane, both Junior Mendieta and Everton Moraes reported for ‘duty’ on Thursday.

Mendieta was signed from Stellenbosch FC on a four-year deal while Moraes joins from Brazilian outfit Bahia.

The Power FM Sport anchor claims that both Mendieta and Moraes were part of the club’s photoshoot for the new Sundowns kit.

Meanwhile, Maritzburg United dribbling wizard Karim Kimvuidi is reportedly NOT in discussions with any team over his future even days after his team’s relegation.

The lanky midfielder was previously reported to be edging closer to a move to Orlando Pirates but Transfermarkt reports that is not entirely true.

According to Kimvuidi, as per Transfermarkt, the first preference would be to join Mamelodi Sundowns instead of both Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.

His long-term goal is to eventually play in Europe, and perhaps he could use the either of the big three clubs as a stepping stone to achieve that.

“I prefer Sundowns but my [long term] concern is to go to Europe, it is my wish,” he said.
