Mamelodi Sundowns have finally beaten Kaizer Chiefs to the signature of Sipho Mbule who joined them from SuperSport United on Friday.

As exclusively reported by The South African website in May, two teams had been in talks behind the scenes over the transfer of Mbule to Chloorkop.
Chiefs had initially shown interest in signing Mbule but that’s all it was as they didn’t even submit an official bid to SuperSport United.

Sundowns, on the other hand, met SuperSport United’s asking and thus, securing their long-term target who will link up with former teammates Aubrey Modiba, Grant Kekana and Teboho Mokoena.
HOW MANY YEARS WILL SIPHO MBULE BE AT MAMELODI SUNDOWNS
According to a statement released by Sundowns on Friday, Mbule has penned a three-year deal with the Tshwane giants.

This means Mbule will be contracted to Sundowns at least until June 2025, and at that time, he will be 27 years of age.
