Mamelodi Sundowns star Abubeker Nasir is set to miss out the remainder of the season due to injury!

The speedy Ethiopian winger has struggled to hit the ground running in South Africa due to persistent injury issues.

In fact, Nasir made just 17 appearances for Masandawana since joining them in 2022.

This season alone, the 23-year-old winger has already missed 29 matches for Rhulani Mokwena’s side.

Mamelodi Sundowns ruled out for remainder of season

“Mamelodi Sundowns winger Abubeker Nasir could be out for the remainder of the season after suffering an ankle ligament injury.” an IdiskiTimes report read.

In other news, former Kaizer Chiefs star Siyabonga Ngezana has returned back to Romania following a brief holiday in South Africa.

The FCSB defender has been linked with a blockbuster move to French Ligue 1 side Lorient in recent weeks.

This comes after a string of promising performances for Romanian giants FCSB following his move to the club at the beginning of the season.

According to reports, FCSB rejected a R105 million offer for Ngezana from Lorient.

While the negotiations drag on, the Kaizer Chiefs academy graduate has already returned back to Romania and is preparing for tomorrow’s match against UTA Arad.

Former Amakhosi star Ngezana returns back to Europe

According to SoccerLaduma, Siyabonga Ngezana has safely returned back to Romania and is preparing for Monday’s Romanian Liga 1 clash against UTA Arad.

FCSB currently lead the way on the log standings with 44 points from 21 matches.
