Sundowns star moving to SuperSport?

These two clubs are at it again. A Mamelodi Sundowns defender is reportedly on SuperSport United’s radar.

It’s been a long one since we saw Mosa Lebusa in a Mamelodi Sundowns jersey. New reports say the former Ajax Cape Town skipper could be moving to SuperSport United.

SUPERSPORT TO SIGN LEBUSA FROM SUNDOWNS?

According to the report, Gavin Hunt is determined to replace the Kaizer Chiefs-bound Thatayaone Ditlhokwe.

“He’s very close to joining SuperSport United, but he’ll have to accept a pay cut because they won’t pay him what Sundowns were paying,” a source told FARPost.

“The club feel he could be a perfect replacement for T,T and he comes with experience playing on the continent,” the report added.

TOO EXPENSIVE?

Additionally, United’s Chief Executive Officer, Stan Matthews, is not sure about the affordability of Lebusa.

“Mosa Lebusa, I haven’t had an indication from Sundowns that he’s available,” Matthews said.

“Obviously he’s a player we would have interest in but realistically he’s on a massive package. And I’m not sure if we’re going to be able to have him because his package is very large.

“A lovely player, but you have to try and get what you can afford,” he concluded.
