‘Everybody wants to beat Sundowns’ – Rulani

CAPE TOWN SPURS VISIT TSHWANE
Following three back-to-back games against TP Mazembe, AmaZulu and Pyramids FC in the CAF Champions League, Kabo Yellow have a hungry and desperate Spurs coming to town on Wednesday night.
“These games are not easy, I do feel sorry for my players. It’s a very difficult month with so many games [eight],” said Mokwena.
“Everybody wants to beat us, everybody feels like we got to play at a certain level, understanding how difficult it is to keep going. Every three days you in camp and you travelling.
“It’s just type of programme and we have to go on with it. Like I always say, they say the head that carries the crown is in it.
“We carrying the crown at the moment, everyone wants to say they are the first to beat Sundowns. That’s the responsibility and the burden that we carry at the moment,” the former Orlando Pirates coach concluded.
PHAKAMANI MAHLAMBI’S FALL FROM GRACE
Talking about Sundowns, the former superstar winger Mahlambi has been remembered with sadness.
As the coach gave Mahlambi his DStv Premiership debut, aged 18, at Bidvest Wits in 2014/15, Hunt later facilitated the youngster’s move to Al Ahly.
Cairo, Egypt, was where the Louwsburg-born winger began to crash and burn.

According to Hunt, one of Mahlambi’s visits to Mzansi included a very expensive drinking spree of R45 000.
“I was at a restaurant a couple of years ago, he was at Al Ahly, he left us, they were having a good time, six mates, they always have mates because they have money – anyway, I call the waiter over, I asked what’s the bill over there, he said R45,000,” Hunt said via ThisIsFootballAfrica. – READ THE FULL STORY HERE.
