RALANI AND MNGQITHI MAKE DEBUTS FOR MAMELODI SUNDOWNS

As The South African reported during the weekend, the DStv Premiership champions advanced to the Nedbank Cup last 16 after beating Richards Bay on Friday night.

The same game was where Ralani wore the Sundowns jersey for the club, as well as his new teammate Mokoena.

“A very sound performance from Surprise, but not a surprising performance because we know what he’s capable of and we know that he’s going to help us a lot,” Mngqithi said as quoted by the club.

“He understands our tactical plans, our playing concept, and Cape Town City is playing something very close to what we would want to see.”

“Tebza came in the second half just to refresh the team, and he did very well to destabilize the middle field with good passing moments [and he] created a lot of scoring moments even in the final third.

“We are happy with their contribution to the team and we believe there is still more to come.” – Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi.
