Mike Makaab, agent of ex-Orlando Pirates star Andile Jali, has dropped a bombshell over the midfielder’s situation at Swallows.

The agent of former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana midfielder Andile Jali has revealed that the central midfielder was also dismissed by Moroka Swallows.

According to iDiski Times, Mike Makaab confirmed that 33-year-old midfielder Jali was one of the 22 players dismissed by Swallows. The player’s representatives will be contesting that decision by going the legal route.

A SoccerLaduma source believes Lesedi Kapinga could benefit from Lorch’s exit. Former Sundowns attacking midfielder Kapinga has made just one league appearance all season for the Buccaneers, to go along with two MTN8 appearances and one in the CAF Champions League. Injuries, admittedly, have also hindered his progress, but the 28-year-old is back and fit.
“The boy (Kapinga) is motivated to do well. He is working hard in training, and he is confident of making it at Pirates,” said their source.
“With Lorch having left the club, there is a chance for Lesedi to get more game time. Lorch’s departure will open space for some of the guys who didn’t pay much in the first round of the season and Lesedi is one of those players.” the source added.
