“Thembinkosi Lorch is a star player. He is a superstar. He is one of the best players ever produced in South Africa,” he said on iDiskiTV.

Lorch joined Pirates in 2015 but was loaned out for two seasons before he became a regular for the club in 2017.

“This may be his last contract because he is older. So he needs to check himself and put all his efforts into being a great player.

“The court case is done. He was found guilty but he is back from suspension now. He needs to work hard on being a better person and keep focused. Some of us were never given these second chances,” Khanye added.
