Kaizer Chiefs academy star Aden McCarthy has been tipped to make his first team debut in the near future.

The 19-year-old has been a standout performer in Vela Khumalo’s Amakhosi DStv Diski Challenge team for a long time now.

McCarthy, the son of Chiefs legend Fabian McCarthy is a solid central defender and if the latest reports are anything to go by, he could soon be slotting into the first team’s defence.

Aden McCarthy joined the first team on their pre-season camp under coach Molefi Ntseki in June meaning he’s already familiar with the seniors.
