Kaizer Chiefs return to DStv Premiership action this evening when they host Golden Arrows at the FNB Stadium.

Cavin Johnson’s side are yet to win in 2024 and will undoubtedly be desperate to pick up maximum points tonight.

Golden Arrows themselves will be desperate to pick up a victory. The Kwa-Zulu Natal based side have lost 10 of their previous matches. This excludes a walkover victory against Swallows.

Johnson demands improved Amakhosi performance!

“We know that this game is very important for us and from now on we will treat each and every game like a cup final. The players have to put up their hands and play better than we did today on Saturday against Swallows,” Kaizer Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson told Sowetan.

“We need to pick ourselves up. We will try by all means to get the three points against Golden Arrows. Chiefs will play the best football we can play in order to win the game and get the three points.

“Every time we play someone who is in a worse position than us, we seem to struggle. Everybody who plays Kaizer Chiefs and not only now, but since the last eight years, when teams play Chiefs they always put up their hand. And also instead of going to one sangoma they go to five.”
