Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Darrel Matsheke has moved on with his career. His new home is at Stellenbosch FC.

Players can always restart somewhere after Kaizer Chiefs. The latest example is Darrel Matsheke.

Following loan spells with Moroka Swallows and Uthongathi before Chiefs ended his contract last season, the 24-year-old from Soweto has found new living accommodation in the Cape Winelands as Sibongiseni Mthethwa’s replacement.

His agent Gerald Baloyi has confirmed a one-year deal with an option to renew.

“We have finally concluded the talks with Stellenbosch,” Baloyi told FARPost’s Sinethemba Sithole.

“Darrel has signed a one-year deal and an option to extend next year,” he added.
