Sundowns join race for Chiefs target? Report

Mmh, Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly mulling over the pursuit of a Kaizer Chiefs target. The name is Junior Mendieta from Stellebosch FC.

DStv Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly chasing Stellenbosch FC’s Junior Mendieta, but there is some bad news. Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly considering the Argentine star.

KAIZER CHIEFS LINKED WITH JUNIOR MENDIETA

As widely reported across local football media, the 29-year-old Argentine is hotly linked with a move to Naturena to become a Glamour Boy next season.

According to page four of the latest edition of iDiskiTimes, Sundowns could go for 29-year-old Mendieta, if Erwin Saavedra or Surprise Ralani leave the champions.

EVA NGA LEAVING PIRATES?

Staying with the Sea Robbers, Cameroonian striker Eva Nga looks ever closer to the exit door.

As The South African previously reported, the Soweto giants signed two new strikers in January: Ndumiso Mabena and Cameroon’s Souaibou Marou.

As in any football club, old faces have to make way for new arrivals.
