Three players at Sundowns and Pirates linked with Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs are expected to have a significant transfer window in June-July. Here are three reported targets from big rivals.

KAIZER CHIEFS LINKED WITH MAMELODI SUNDOWNS AND ORLANDO PIRATES PLAYERS

With Amakhosi reportedly preparing to release the likes of Cole Alexander and Phathutshedzo Nange in the next transfer window, the club is understandably scanning the market for midfielders.

In the due attempt to find plug-and-play options with proven PSL experience, the Glamour Boys are reportedly targetting two players at Sundowns and another one from Pirates.

The trio are said to be Andile Jali, Lebohang Maboe and Ben Motshwari.

It remains to be seen which player will end up wearing the gold and black jersey next season.

ANDILE JALI MISSES MAMELODI SUNDOWNS TRAINING

In related reports, Jali was not spotted at Chloorkop on Thursday.

Following last week’s dramatic reports on attending training under the influence of alcohol, the DStv Premiership champions might be moving on from the 32-year-old Chiefs target.

While Jali’s disciplinary report included his teammate Sipho Mbule, the 24-year-old did return to the team last weekend, while Jali did not. Additionally, the Matatiele-born player is yet to renew his contract with Sundowns before it expires in June. Read the full story here.
