Khama Billiat signs for new club after Chiefs

Football players always have to move on. Former Kaizer Chiefs attacker Khama Billiat is back home in Zimbabwe.

Kaizer Chiefs’ ex-attacking midfielder Khama Billiat has a new home.

The former Cape Town Spurs star left Chiefs in July 2023.

He was seemingly set to join Cape Town City, but no offer was made.

Billiat later emerged in Tshwane last month. The 33-year-old started to train with SuperSport United, as reported by @SAFootClassics via X.

Sadly for Billiat, the plan was not a success as he stopped training with Matsatsanta a Pitori.

“Former Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat has stopped training with SuperSport United,” iDiski Times reported.

“But a close source has now informed iDiski Times that Billiat is no longer training with SuperSport.

“United trained Friday, Saturday and had a rest day on Sunday, then returned to training this morning and Billiat was not present in all those training sessions,” the report added.

BACK AT YADAH FC IN ZIMBABWE

Meanwhile, the former Chiefs and Aces Academy star has returned to where it all started.

According to Unplayable, Billiat has joined Zimbabwe Premier League club Yadah FC on a one-year-deal.

The Mufakose-born star had his breakthrough in 2009 when he signed for Cape Town Spurs (formerly Ajax Cape Town).
