Given Nurkovic’s dip in form and his latest injury setback which will see him miss up to eight weeks of action, Chiefs may have to reconsider his future.

Nurkovic’s agent Dajan Simac confirmed that the striker’s contract is expiring in 2022, but then again Chiefs have an option to renew it.

“Samir is focusing on his recovery at the moment, but yes, I can confirm that his contract is up at the end of the season,” Simac told Soccer Laduma.
