Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to part ways with one of their underperforming star who came in highly rated just over a year ago.

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to part ways with one of their underperforming star who came in highly rated just over a year ago.

According to UnplayableZA, Siyethemba Sithebe could be on his way out at Naturena in the near future after struggling for game time.

Sithebe has been out of favour since late last season as Chiefs’ woes continued under Arthur Zwane and again under Molefi Ntseki.

Now, Chiefs are mulling over the future of Sithebe whose contract with the club expires in June although there is an option to extend on it.

Given his lack of game time and his inconsistency since joining Chiefs, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the former AmaZulu midfielder leave Naturena.

The publication reports that both AmaZulu and Golden Arrows have expressed interest in acquiring the services of Sithebe.

KAIZER CHIEFS SET TO OFFLOAD SIYETHEMBA SITHEBE

Sithebe has featured just once for the Glamour Boys this season, and that was in August 2023 when they lost 2-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns.

Since then, Sithebe has had to watch his teammates from the stands, with Cavin Johnson preferring Edson Castillo, Yusuf Maart and Sibongiseni in midfield.

Overall, Sithebe has made 29 appearances across all competitions for Chiefs without finding the back of the net.
