Kaizer Chiefs transfer news: Sibongiseni Mthethwa deal imminent

Kaizer Chiefs are edging closer to completing the signing of Sibongiseni Mthethwa from Stellenbosch FC.

According to iDiski Times, Mthethwa is set to fly to Johannesburg in the coming hours to undergo his medicals before putting pen to paper.

The publication reports that a three-year deal is already on the table, and all that’s left is for Mthethwa to sign on the dotted line.

“iDiski Times understands ‘Ox’ will be flying out to Johannesburg within the coming hours to finalise a three-year deal with an option to extend,” reads the report.

Mthethwa iisn’t the only player that is set to join Chiefs before the transfer window closes. Luke Fleurs is another.

According to UnplayableZA, Amakhosi will offer Fleurs a contract after he started training with them this week as a free agent.

Fleurs parted ways with SuperSport United after he reportedly couldn’t be guaranteed game time under Gavin Hunt season.

Chiefs then jumped at the opportunity by inviting Fleurs over for an assessment, and he’s now set to put pen to paper.
