Kaizer Chiefs have seen the talented Puso Dithejane player slip through the cracks. They’ll hope this decision doesn’t come back to bite them.

TS GALAXY AND KAIZER CHIEFS REACH A COMPROMISE
Amakhosi released Puso Dithejane along with former Unathi Mdaka. This was owing to misconduct over ball-boy duties in October. It’s a bit silly that DDC players had to perform that role if you ask us. Chiefs insisted they would only release Dithejane if a suitor paid a R1.5 million fee for his services. TS Galaxy swooped in but couldn’t register him until they coughed up the cash.

AMAKHOSI RECEIVE PARTIAL PAYMENT
Chiefs reportedly rejected TS Galaxy’s request to pay the fee in chunks over two years. However, the two PSL sides have now reached an agreement on the payment terms with Galaxy paying a portion upfront, allowing them to register Dithejane as a player and they’ll need to pay the balance in due course.
Dithejane played for Bafana Bafana at the COSAFA Cup in Durban in July and was a senior figure in the Chiefs DDC side. He was on the brink of a breakthrough into the senior setup after training with the first team of late. Will Chiefs’ loss be Galaxy’s gain?
