The Glamour Boys are in the midst of an exciting rebuild. The mighty Kaizer Chiefs are mostly prioritising youth, and two more youngsters look set for promotion to the first team fold. Naturena is a cool place to be!

Omega Mdaka is a stocky, compact left-back who’s still just 19 years old. With Sifisi Hlanti the wrong side of 30, it’s a shrewd time to blood a new player in that position. Hlanti still has plenty to offer, and he’s likely to earn a new contract at Naturena, but there’s nothing wrong with some healthy competition for places.
Donay Jansen, meanwhile, is an exciting winger who could be ready to step up to the big time. Chiefs have Mduduzi Shabalala in wide areas, but Mdu has recretly excelled in the number 10 role. Another exciting wide attacker is a more than welcome addition for Arthur Zwane, especially with the underwhelming displays of Kgaogelo Sekgota in mind.

Back to on-field matters and the present first team, Amakhosi are on a roll with five wins on the bounce. They face Marumo Gallants next, so they’ll fancy their chances of extending that run.
