Kaizer Chiefs target Pitso has offers from across the globe

Jingles took charge of just 10 games at Al Wahda in the UAE before having his contract terminated. He’s now on a hiatus from management. He’s reportedly in no rush to return to work just yet, with his focus on family. He did, however, admit that some tempting offers were on the table. There’s one from Eastern Europe.

“To be honest, there is interest in me now and in a totally different space that you and I could ever think of – Asia, not the Gulf,” he stated.

“So there has been interest. And there’s been an interesting one also from North America. And why not? Why not go to North America, why not go to Japan, China, those places, because for us, it is also our legacy.

“So if you can get a project that’s interesting in the Gulf, just for example, and a similar project in Asia, probably I would go to Asia, just to go see.

“I mean when I say Asia, I know the Gulf is Asia, but I mean easy now, why not? And there’s also an interest not only interest, just a conversation in Europe suddenly. Maybe this will break that ice, I don’t know. But I mean Eastern Europe, not the ones that we all talk about – France, England, Italy and those ones.

“So probably there might be interest back at home and also maybe national teams, that depends on which one and depends on the vision also.

“And it’s Cup of Nations in January, so maybe short term, maybe too early for that. But maybe after January, which is the World Cup qualifiers keep going on, so maybe that can also interest me, but it has to be the right thing.

“But on that one, national teams, I don’t have a problem to be back in the continent, but club-wise no.”
