“Luke Fleurs signs for Amakhosi! Kaizer Chiefs have fortified their defensive unit with the signing of Under-23 international, Luke Fleurs, on a two-year contract, with an option for a further season. Welcome to the family!” the Glamour Boys announced.

STARTING LINE-UP WITH FLEURS

So how does the new Chiefs defender fit into Cavin Johnson’s set-up? It honestly doesn’t look so easy.

Looking at the most previous line-up, Fleurs can be inlcuded by replacing a left-back.

The last game, a 1-1 draw with Sekhukhune United, had Edmilson Dove playing in central defender alongside Given Msimango.

By including Fleurs, Edmilson would shift to left-back to replace Sifiso Hlanti, a player many Chiefs supporters have been criticising in recent times.

New Kaizer Chiefs line-up: Bruce Bvuma, Reeve Frosler, Given Msimango, Luke Fleurs, Edmilson Dove, Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Yusuf Maart, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Pule Mmodi, Ashley du Preez and Jasond Gonzalez.

Meanwhile, Chiefs are training to take on Royal AM away at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Sunday at 15:30.
