Cavin Johnson has defender Kaizer Chiefs star Nkosingiphile Ngcobo’s physical condition.

The highly talented midfielder, who has somewhat failed to live up to his true potential, has come under fire for his conditioning.

Take a look at what Cavin Johnson has to say regarding the first team midfielder’s weight.

Ngcobo is not overweight – Kaizer Chiefs coach

“Nope, I don’t think Mshini is overweight, I think he’s fine. He might look overweight but I can tell you we have people who’re looking at all these things and none of these players are overweight,” the Kaizer Chiefs interim head coach said as quoted by IdiskiTimes.

“We have one of the best fitness centres in the country. We have the best fitness measures in the country and when you do those things everything comes out perfect.

“If I’m telling you you look fat, but you’re not fat, you look normal, you understand what I’m saying. Who are we as outside people to decide whether a person is fat or not. Do I look fat or overweight?”

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs FC’s management are reportedly closely monitoring TS Galaxy star Lehlohonolo Mojela.

The 27-year-old winger has been a revelation for Sead Ramovic’s Galaxy this season.

In his maiden season at the club, Mojela has scored four goals while assisting one more in the opening half of the season.

And now, his rich form is reportedly attracting serious attention from Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs!

Amakhosi keen on signing Galaxy star Mojela

“It’s unfortunate they could not get him last season when he was still at Casric Stars. They inquired about him even at that time after playing against Casric Stars in the Nedbank Cup.” an insider told SoccerLaduma.

“Kaizer Chiefs started talking to the club but it didn’t go far. They are serious about him.

“Let’s wait and see what Galaxy will say. He hasn’t even spent a full season there but players move in football and anything is possible.”

Mojela is undoubtedly one of the finds of the season. Do you want to see him at Kaizer Chiefs next season? Let us know in the comments section.
