Kaizer Chiefs star Ranga Chivaviro has made a slow start to his career at Naturena. However, the real work starts now.

So far, Ranga Chivaviro’s Kaizer Chiefs career has been a stop-start affair, with limited starts and minor injury concerns. By the time the international break is done, Chivaviro will be a lot closer to full fitness and knocking on the door for selection. After his exploits for Gallants last season, a club for whom he scored 17 goals across all competitions in 2022-23, we all know he’s a capable goal-scorer. He got 10 in 19 league appearances alone. Alongside the returning Edmilson Dove, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Keagan Dolly, Molefi Ntseki’s squad is looking stronger by the day.

Kaizer Chiefs are back in action this weekend

The Glamour Boys will be itching to get back to DSTtv Premiership duty after stringing together two consecutive wins in the league prior to the break. After that, they counted themselves a little unlucky to draw 1-1 with Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final first leg. Chiefs host MaMkhize’s Royal AM side on Saturday, September 16th at FNB Stadium. Kickoff is at 17:30.
