Kaizer Chiefs willing to spend R1 million on new technical team?

Kaizer Chiefs are set to break the bank in their quest to hire a new coaching team.

According to reports, the Glamour Boys are budgeting an impressive R1 million for an improved coaching department.

The R1 million budget will cover their “head coach along with two to three backroom staffers in key support roles as assistant, performance/video analyst, goalkeeper coach, or conditioning coach.”

Kaizer Chiefs set R1 million coaching budget?

“According to numerous sources close to the discussions, KickOff can reveal that the calibre of coaches that Chiefs aim to appoint will prove a costly endeavor in the region of R1 million per month.” the publication reported.

In other news, DR Congo star midfielder Fabrice Ngoma is open to joining Kaizer Chiefs ahead of next season.

The talented midfielder has previously been linked with a move to the Glamour Boys however his long-term contract at Al Hilal was a major stumbling block in the past.

The good news however is that the 29-year-old DR Congo international is now a free agent!

“Sources suggest that Kaizer Chiefs have been alerted to Ngoma’s availability. And if they are still interested in his services, they have the opportunity to secure his signature.” a Citizen report read.

“The club will need to make a decision on whether to pursue the player or explore other options for their squad.

“A source close to the matter revealed that Ngoma is keen on joining Chiefs, considering them to be his preferred choice.”
