Kaizer Chiefs players are living in fear – Molefi Ntseki

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki believes his Amakhosi players are living in fear.

Amakhosi fans were once again left furious after the Glamour Boys crashed out of the Carling Knockout Cup after going down 1-0 against AmaZulu.

Following the match, furious Amakhosi fans once again hurled objects at Molefi Ntseki, signalling their dissatisfaction with him.

According to Ntseki, Amakhosi players who witness their fan’s behaviour, are worried they too could soon be victim of fan-attacks.

Kaizer Chiefs players are worried of fan abuse

“And when things like this happen for the third time, it’s not only affecting you as a coach. It also affects your players.” – Molefi Ntseki said as quoted by FarPost after fans once again displayed their anger after losing.

“When they hear and see what happens to their coach when they lose matches, it also becomes a reflection on them to say, ‘What if tomorrow I’m the next one when I did not have a good game’”.

“I think we started this season with so much pressure, especially coming from the previous seasons, not only from last season.” Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki said as quoted by Sowetan ahead of Saturday’s fixture against AmaZulu.

“Yes, the pressure comes from yesterday, not necessarily today. But that’s because of the history of the club, the background of the club.

“But when you take this position, you have to know that there’ll be pressure and I welcome that.”
